You know it's cold when.........

So when we were driving to church this morning it was 6 degrees outside. My hair was still a little wet when we got to church and by the time I got from the car into the building (which takes about 10 seconds) my hair was frozen. That's pretty cold.

The Joys of Static Electricity

Maddy got a princess tent for Christmas and they have both had a really good time playing in it. They don't actually play in it like a regular tent........they just end up rolling around the house in it. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt and they always end up with pretty crazy hair.

I'm Lame

So I think I'm officially the worst blogger ever. Hopefully I can get it together from now on and will try to post something once a week. We had a really good Christmas in Virginia. The weather was really nice and we got to play outside almost everyday. Maddy and Mason got way too many presents and Sam and I ate way too much good food. It was fun to get to spend time with family. I have a few pictures so I will try to figure out how to put them up for next week.

It's a bird.........it's a plane..........it's TP Boy!!! He'll save the day with his 2 ply strength.

Zoo Lights

We went to the zoo one night to see the Christmas lights. It was fun and actually not too cold. Mason thought it was the best thing he had ever seen for the first few minutes and then he decided he was over it.

First Snow

It snowed for the first time this winter in the beginning of December. They were both really excited to get out and play in it. I tried to take more picutres but of course the camera ran out of batteries. Mason had a hard time walking. I'm not sure if it was because the snow was too deep or because he was wearing 3 pairs of pants.
